Prompts
The buyer questions Peach asks, how they are written, and how to add your own.
Updated
In short. A prompt is one buyer question. Peach writes eight per check from what your site says you sell. You can add your own and run them, and Peach asks before it spends anything.
How the eight are written
Peach writes questions the way a buyer would type them when they do not yet know which company to choose. Two rules apply:
- No brand names. A question that names you would always return you. The point is to see whether you come up unprompted.
- Shaped by what you sell. A software company gets questions about tools. An agency gets questions about hiring a service. If you sell in one country, the questions say so.
If you sell more than one thing, the eight are split across your offerings in proportion to how central each is.
The Prompts tab
The tab lists every prompt with:
- a status for each engine: named, not named, or no answer
- your visibility for that prompt
- the answer text, when you open the row
Adding your own
Use Add prompt to write a question yourself. You can give it an intent, a priority and a persona to keep your list organised.
Added prompts are not run automatically. When you run them, Peach shows what it is about to do and waits for you to confirm, because each one is a real call to each engine.
Generate prompts suggests more questions for you to pick from.
Brand keywords
You can list up to 20 brand keywords: product names, spellings and phrases you want to watch for.
Where added prompts are kept
Prompts and keywords you add in this tab are saved in your browser, not in your account. They will not appear on another device or in another browser, and clearing your browser data removes them.
If the prompts are wrong
Prompts follow from the classification. If they ask about a product you do not sell, correct the classification in Brand Hub and run a new check. Editing the wording of individual prompts will not fix a wrong category.
To see the questions related to each prompt, open Query Fan-Out.
