FAQ

Short answers to the questions people ask most about Peach checks, scores, articles and billing.

Checks and accounts

Do I need an account to run a check?

Yes. A check is free, and it needs a free account. Sign-up asks for an email address, your first name and your company name. It does not ask for a card. See Your first free check.

How many checks does a free account get?

One website, checked up to three times.

How long does a check take?

Usually about a minute. Peach stops a check that has not finished after 90 seconds.

Can I check a competitor's website?

A check runs on whatever address you enter. A free account covers one website, so choose the one you care about.

Scores

Why is my score 0%?

None of the sampled answers named you. That is common for young or small brands, because the engines answer from what the model already knows. It does not mean you are never named. See Limitations and accuracy.

ChatGPT names me when I ask it myself. Why does Peach say it does not?

The ChatGPT app can search the web and personalise. Peach asks through the API with no web search. They are different measurements, and both can be right. See Engines.

Does Peach read Google's AI Overview?

No. The Google check reads the answer box and top results of an ordinary Google search.

Why does Google say "No answer" for most questions?

Most searches have no answer box. That is the normal result.

Why did my score change when I did not run a new check?

Saved reports are re-scored when opened, using your current competitor list and the current matching rules. See How the score works.

The competitors are wrong. What do I do?

Correct them in Brand Hub. If they are from the wrong industry entirely, fix the classification on the Business step first, then re-detect.

Peach thinks I sell in the wrong country.

Set Where you compete in Brand Hub. Your choice overrides detection. See Market and geography.

Writing and publishing

Can I write articles on a free account?

No. Writing articles needs a paid plan.

How many articles can I write?

20 a month on Starter, 40 on Growth, counted over a rolling 30 days.

Do the articles use real sources?

Body sections of an Article or How-to research the web and cite published findings with links. When research fails for a section, the article says which sections have no sources. Read before you publish.

What does "Needs review" mean?

A quality check failed, such as word count or a stock phrase. Open the article to see which. See The outline, the article and quality checks.

Where can I publish?

To a blog hosted by Peach, or to a self-hosted WordPress site. Other connectors are coming soon. You can also export any article as a file. See Publishing connectors.

I edited an article after publishing. Is the live page updated?

On the Peach-hosted blog, yes: saved edits show at the same address. On WordPress, no. See What "Publish again" does.

Billing

What do the plans cost?

Starter is $89 a month and Growth is $219 a month, in US dollars. The pricing page shows the current price.

How do I cancel or get help with a payment?

Email hello@gotopeach.com from the address on your account.
