Missed questions
A missed question is a buyer question that got an answer from at least one engine, where no engine named you.
Updated
In short. A missed question, also called a gap, is a question where the engines answered and none of the answers named you. Peach shows up to three per report, with the answer text and the competitors that were named instead.
What counts as a missed question
A question is a gap when both of these are true:
- At least one engine returned an answer for it.
- Your brand is not named in any engine's answer to it.
A question that no engine answered is not a gap. There is nothing to be missing from.
If one engine named you and another did not, the question is not a gap. It shows as a mixed result in the Prompts tab.
What you see for each one
- the question
- the answer each engine gave, in full
- the competitors named in those answers
Read the answers. They show what the engine treats as a good answer to that question: which kinds of companies it lists, and what it says about them.
Open gaps
Sometimes nobody you track was named either. Peach calls this an open gap. It is not a weaker finding. A question nobody owns can be the best one to write for. It simply cannot be ranked against contested questions, because there is no rival to measure.
Why only three
A report lists at most three missed questions, even when more of the eight were missed. Your mention rate still counts all of them.

Acting on a missed question
Each missed question links to What to write, where Peach suggests article topics that answer it. From there you can generate an outline and an article.
Before you write, check two things:
- Is the question right? If it describes a product you do not sell, your classification is off. Fix it in Brand Hub.
- Are the competitors right? See Competitors.
