Can AI Read My Page?
Fetches a page without running JavaScript and counts the words a non-rendering crawler receives.
Enter a page. Peach fetches the HTML the server sends and counts what is in it before any script runs. It makes one request for a public page. It needs JavaScript to run; the explanation below does not.
What this checks, and what it does not
It checks
- One request for the page, with no JavaScript executed.
- Words of content in that HTML, the H1, link and script counts, and whether an app mount point is empty.
- A noindex instruction in the meta robots tag or the X-Robots-Tag header.
It does not
- It does not render the page, so it cannot show you the difference against a browser. Compare the word count with what you see on screen.
- It does not know which crawlers run JavaScript. Some do. This shows the floor: what every crawler gets.
- It reads one page, not the site.
How to read the result
If the count is close to what you see in a browser, the page is server-rendered and a crawler receives it whole. If the count is near zero and an empty mount point is reported, the page is assembled in the browser and a crawler that does not run scripts receives a shell.
A low count on a page that looks full is the finding. The usual fixes are server rendering, static generation, or writing static HTML for the important pages at build time.

Frequently asked questions
Do AI crawlers run JavaScript?
Most published evidence says the main AI crawlers fetch HTML and do not execute scripts, while Googlebot does render. That can change, which is why this tool reports what is in the raw HTML and nothing more.
My page shows 0 words. Is it invisible?
It means the HTML the server sent contained no content text. A crawler that renders pages would still see it. One that does not would receive nothing to read.
Why does the count differ from my word processor?
Navigation, headers, footers, scripts and styles are removed before counting, and the count is taken from the main or article element when the page has one.
